2008 Ford F150 purchased new with ESP option. Twice it has been worked on under warranty for cam phaser failure due to loss of oil pressure. Neither fix corrected the problem. Last time was a week before I deployed to Afghanistan. I came back after 16 months, the truck is still under warranty and parked. Ford now says it will require an engine and that will not be covered under warranty in spite of the service records that I had to hunt down and give them. The engine shows signs of "varnish" which according to Ford comes from poor service. When asked if it was possible from sitting for 16 months? The answer was "I don't know but Ford is going to cover it." I have purchased 38 new Fords for my family and my company between 1996 and 2010. I guess it is time to look at the Tundra.
