We bought a Ford Escape for my daughter. We have the comprehensive warranty that is to cover the car for the life of the loan.in a recent rain we had we noticed the Escape had water inside the car and wanted to find out what the trouble might be that is causing it to leak. We Took it to Covert Ford in Austin, TX and they indicated that if it was the sun roof that it would be covered under warranty. The next day they called and indicated that the sun roof did leak and that it would cost us $300.00 to have it fixed. They told us because she parked under an OAK TREE that the warranty would not cover repair. We chose not to have it fixed at this time and they charged us $55.00 fee to find out the cause of the leak. The question I have is: does the warranty cover the leak only if you do not park under an OAK TREE?
