Gulfstream Coach / Mor-Ryde / Mccormick Chevy Dealer
I should Have read these rippoff reports before buying my BT Cruiser 2009

Below is my report to all the attorneys I have contacted!!! I will try to explain to you my situation as best I can.

I purchased an RV back in 2008. It was a 2009 Gulf Stream, model BT Cruiser (29 ft). Within a week of the time I purchased it I began having trouble with it. One of the slide outs was faulty and the dealer said it was a manufacturer defect. After 3 to 4 weeks it was repaired, only to be followed by the generator failing and that took another week to repair.

I was concerned during the entire time that I had the RV that the transmission hesitated to catch right away but eventually it would until one day when stopping for fuel and when putI just made a call to your office, hoping that you were able to get back to me.

Ting the RV into reverse, it went forward instead.
I called the dealer (Sagon RV Center) immediately and spoke with Robbie Anderson and was told by him to bring it in to Bellamy Strickland Chevy dealer for the transmission problem since it would still be under Warranty with only 3800 miles and it being a 2009 model. We were still in 2008 at this time. This all occurred on October 14 and it has been there ever since.
I have contacted them via telephone, email and their response to me was always the same. We are working on it.

Gulf Stream is blaming Chevy for the transmission problem, Chevy says that once the vehicle is altered that their warranty is void. Bellamy Strickland says it is a manufacturer defect as they put a bracket in the wrong place which caused the problem and now the Transmission has to be replaced and the axel has to be realigned and it goes on and on.

In the meantime, I am making payments on an RV that cannot be used. My wife feels as I do, that this vehicle is not safe to travel in with our two boys.

Additionally, I purchased an extended Warranty from Sagon that cost me an additional $5,000 for 5 years and which is supposed to cover the RV for everything should anything fail.

It is called Star RV Motor Home ServiceThe contract number is 7010679 and when I called them at 800-942-0400, giving them my name and and contract number, they told me they have no record of me. I can't help but wonder where my money went.

I am currently dealing with the Governors office and am being helped by a Mr. Eric Nelson. He has suggested that I contact a lawyer but in the meantime I have just sent a final notice to replace or repurchase the RV on January 15th of 2009. I just as soon have them repurchase as I would not trust any vehicle that they would replace mine with. I believe they have 30 to comply but am seeking legal counsel as I feel my patience has been stretched and I feel I deserve an immediate solution.

I am writing you to see if you think I have a case. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you may be able to give me.

I feel there are Deceptive acts and practices here, along with fraud and of cause warranty practice that are illegal and the lemon law.

Thank you
Sincerely,
Carlos *
