Total scam dont buy an extended warranty from this company

We purchased an MBPI extended warranty in 9/05 from our local dealership. It was the "premium package" which cost about $2500.
July 08 my transmission failed. The company graciously replaced my transmission with one from a wrecked vehicle (which the replacement had 43,000 more miles on it than the failed transmission). The person that handled my case was arrogant and patronizing. He was an "expert" on Acura TL transmissions because he & his son had one. Even though he was an "expert" he would not agree to replace my transmission with what the Acura dealer recommened (which was a new reconditioned transmission). I was told my car was too old to replace with anything else but the junk they put in there. Against my own judgement I went ahead with the replacement that MBPI would allow because I thought maybe everthing would be okay. My transmission was replaced in 7/08 which I was reminded SEVERAL times by the agent that my contract was going to expire in 9/08. I was reassured time & time again by this crook that it would be fine and wouldn't be sent from his parts dealer if it were not in great shape. I work from home so I do not put many miles on my car. Last week 2/17 I could tell something was wrong with the car. I took it to the same acura dealer and was informed that the MBPI replacement transmission had failed. I realize that I am now out of contract with them but I only put 2,844 miles on the used replacement transmission that MBPI provided.
I called them today per direction from the dealership I purchased the contract from to only be told that i was out of contract and SOL. MBPI knew my contract was almost up and could tell that I do not put a lot of miles on my car at the time they did the replacement. They provided me with a bandaid to get me through the 2 months until the contract was up.
The dealership that I purchased the contract through thought for sure (after talking to several different people) that the company that provided me with the transmission would have to at least provide a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty. I was told that anytime you pay ANYTHING towards a service there has to be a warranty. My $50 deductible would count towards paying something towards the repair.
Here I am 2,844 miles later, upside down on my car by $2500 (due to the MBPI warranty) and now having to pay $2300 for another transmission.
Hopefully people will read this before purchasing from this company. They DO NOT deserve to be in business and ARE NOT working in your best interest.
Biggest scam I have encountered.
