Chevy Impala problems

I have been driving a 2002 Chevy Impala since late 2001. The brake rotors had to be replaced four times before 50K miles. They were also turned between replacements when they were not so bad that it could still be done safely.

The low coolant sensor was replaced twice and has again started to malfunction. The headlights had over an inch of water inside sloshing around. One headlight bulb burned out and the fixture was in such bad shape the whole unit had to be replaced at a cost of over $200 for a simple plastic shell.in less then one month an internal lens part came loose and was floating around in the water inside the new unit. That headlight was replaced and within two days there was water inside.

I wrote to Chevy and told them that after more then 40 years of owning Chevys I would never again own any GM product. I received a phone call from Chevy about a week later. The caller stated he was calling about my car. I think that was what he said. His ability to speak english was so poor I really have no idea what he was saying. I told him that GM products were junk and I would never own another one. I don't expect he could understand me any better then I him. I just hung up.

I wonder how much of my taxpayer bailout dollars will be paying unemployment bennies in China and Mexico when (hopefully) GM goes out of business. A company putting out a product (s) as poor as GM has become, should be out of business!
