False Advertisement, Forgery, Charged tens of thousands of travelers an 13 % ACRF tax (Airport Concession Recovery Fee) that they do not pay - Could be $800,000/yr Stolen from LAX

Deluxe Rent A Car and Johnny Park have been exploiting a loophole in the system to create a way to bilk customers and in effect steal money that the legislators have allocated for the LAX Airport

Deluxe Rent A Car has been using the "Airport Concession Recovery Fee" assessed to all car rental companies that have access to LAX to pad their bottom line and to gain larger margin share with False Advertisement and Deceptive Trade Practices. They do this by using their sister company Johnny Park's shuttles to pick up their clients. They have been charging these fees to their customers and not paying them. Those fees are not going where they are supposed to go... The city's funds are going into their pocket and supplementing allowing them to lower their prices to attempt to be competitive.

This practice has stopped in the first week of August only because after 16mo. Of fighting over false advertisement, bogus fees and a forged receipt submitted to my credit card company, I have filed forgery charges and exposed them for the fraudulent company they are.

They use carrentals.com the #1 car rental site as the primary source of new victims by posting the lowest prices and getting prime position. They then charged the same fee as the competitors do... But they don't pay. They are targeting travelers who will never know what I have discovered. Deluxe no longer rents to locals... And are the only car rental company that services the airport that doesn't pay the ACRF.

Last week I contacted the LAWA regarding the $42 in airport tax charged n my receipt only to find out that Deluxe is not allowed to pick up from the airport and thereby are not charged an access fee. I WAS CHARGED 13.1% or $42 in airport fees and I live in Los Angeles.

Imagine the effect of Deluxe's 450 cars rented to people who were fraudulently charged on average of $40@ 13.3% or $2394 per day. That could add up to $873,810 per year of money that would have gone to LAWA for future construction and upgrades to the airport.
