Improperly performed radiator flush

Took my vehicle to Jiffy Lube in Zion, IL for an oil change. I usually change my own oil, but since it was very cold I decided to take it in. I went in and in a moment of weakness I listened to the "mechanic" about getting my cooling system flushed. After a two hour wait I drove off and noticed that I had not heat.

I drove around a while thinking it needed to warm up more, even though the gauge showed the engine at normal operating temperature. I drove the car about 15, more than enough time for heat to be blowing. Still blowing cold air. I went back to Jiffy lube and after waitng a half hour I get called outside by Ceasar the manager. He has the manners of street thug and doesn't call me Mr. Xxxxx or sir, but Boss. Listen Boss, Hey Boss, Let me tell you Boss. I asked him to stop, but still Boss this Boss that.

Any way he and his muscle he brought out with him popped the hood to show me the hose they take off for the flush and he doesn't address any possible causes of why there is no heat, jsut that it can't be their fault. Feeling we are getting no where, I get in my car and take it home. I inspect it myself and the first thing I see (and smell) is ant-freeze all over the place, second there is a hose clamp on a brace just sitting there.

I opened the radiator and I don't see an fluid. I had to add almost a whole bottle to fill it up. I am surprised it didn't overheat, but since it was single digits outside that may have kept the temp down. So I fixed the problem myself. I would be very careful and not go to this Jiffy Lube.

Things happen and sometimes repairs or what have you don't go right. I completely understand this, but to obviously be the cause of a breakage and not even try to help the customer out is just poor service.
