1st-class r/t solution Vancouver, BC to La. Among the benefits to using a 1st-class solution is the fact that the Red Limit may fill your baggage off and on the practice for you personally. There's you should not examine luggage. It moves along with you within the 1st-class vehicle. Anythingis good before return journey and also the porter provides my spouseis carrier to some tourist who gets down in San Jose. SJ tourist does not recognize immediately but ultimately returns carrier to SJ stop. SJ stop places carrier on next practice heading north (a day later). My spouse is informed Amtrak plan claims they cannot forward her carrier over the edge to Vancouver for safety reasons. Guests should accompany their bags. My spouse needed to invest one more evening in Dallas awaiting her case. Not just was there one more resort stay, but almost $100 in phone costs looking for her carrier ($2/minute outside Europe on her mobile phone). To include insult to damage, her jewelry was absent when she got the carrier back.

As though it wasnot enough, Amtrak Customer Support is going to do NOTHING. She was informed there's no option. No supervisor/boss to talk to. No tackle/fax/telephone number/e-mail they'll hand out. You are about the practice for 36 hrs between LA and Dallas and you're completely accountable if something happens for your baggage, including Amtrakis mishandling of it.
