Cancellation Fee

I terminated my car insurance with Nationwide and likely to obtain a partial month reimbursement. I acquired alternatively a statement declaring that I owe them for termination. Today this cost went to some collection company. There's no-where in my own plan documents that mentioned that the charge could be billed if terminated before plan period. I've had insurance with additional companies and terminated which hasn't occurred. I've yet to determine where within the agreement that is mentioned. I want some type of help eliminate this quantity that I allegedly owed or perhaps a reimbursement of my incomplete month.
