This is not the first time I have had problems with Advanced Towing, in August of 08' I had my car parked in my mothers parking spot in the condominium she lived in, she paid 8,000 dollars for this spot so we expect no issues what so ever parking there. I went upstairs to help my mother with some things, returned 45 minutes later and my car was gone. I called and found out my car had been towed. When I asked why they said it was parked in someone else's parking spot and they had called and requested a tow.
I was leaving on my honeymoon the next monday but made a point to try and call and talk to "John". When I spoke with him, he informed me that he wasn't going to deal with this and that it was towed because my mother called, when in fact it was towed because they saw a new car in someone's space. I paid the 100 dollars and decided to let the problem go.
On December 27th I had my car towed again. This time it was in fact my fault, I parked my car in visitor parking for more then the time allowed. I walked into their office (which is half the size of my closet and smells like smoke) and of course the young lady behind the counter with all 100 of her tattoo's began to give me attitude. Being that I was still and the Christmas spirit and it was my birthday I payed no mind to her attitude and paid the 100 dollars.
When I walked to my car I noticed it was unlocked, which was odd because my car locks once the engine is shut off and all door and lights are off and closed. When I walked into my car, papers where every where. I decided to look around. I noticed one of my bank statements was missing, then MY NAVIGATION I had got two days before was gone.
I walked into the office and first asked why my car had be opened, she informed me that it was because they needed to take my EXPIRED parking pass out of my car. I asked her why they had gone through the back seat, when the parking pass was on the dashboard. All she could say was "Oh I don't really know" "Call in the morning and ask for John". I contemplated calling the Police, but decided to go home and contact my lawyer.
Advanced Towing is run by trashy people who couldn't get a job at wal*mart if they tried.
