I bought my car through a dealer in Southern Illinois, Since day one I have had nothing but problems with this company. The calls start on the day the loan payment is due, even though it is not late. One month I got 9 calls from them, I called, the person who answered the phone could not be understood, I asked several times for someone who could speak English, the next person was not much better and I asked for a supervisor. A male got on the phone and started belittling me, that I should make my payment on time and I should know better. I advised this person that for one, my payment was not late and has never been late. And that 9 calls in a period of several hours was harassment. He chuckled and said they will keep calling till the payment is made, I gave him the date and check number. (it was posted to my account the next day). I told him that I better not get another call or I was calling the main office and the better business. He said I would not get a call again today, a hour latter, guess what, I got another call.
Every month it's the same thing, calls start on the date the payment is due, and I will get 2-3 calls a day.
I called them one day and asked about interest being reduced since I have made my payments and I was told "NO" that I will just have to pay the rate.
I am contacting the dealer and filing a complaint with them, I doubt it will do anything but it will help ease some of my anger.
To anyone reading this, if you getting a loan and they say it is with Credit Acceptance, think twice before signing.
