I purchased a set of 24inch wheels from a local dealer here for $3,600.00 - Within a month the chrome was coming off. Not usachrome's fault. So I searched for a company to rechrome. Www.usachrome.com had the best pricing and seemed nice (when they used to answer their telephone.)
The wheels were shipped in June and the place where I purchased the wheels paid usa chrome to do their job and I was told they would be completed by September. I received an email on September 1st saying that the wheels were completed and he would email me tracking numbers as soon as they left.
The next time I received an email was OCTOBER 8th! - Saying that the wheels were completed but they haven't been brought over to his shop yet.
The next time I received an email was OCTOBER 23rd! - Saying no good excuse for the wheels not being shipped. Just that he had to lay off most of his people.
I received an email on OCTOBER 24th - Saying that they will ship out within 10 days. And it would take about 1 week for delivery.
I tried to find an alternate phone number or email address and thats when I came across usacomplaints.com - which I let him know about all the issues. - His response was that he had to shut down his office to save money and that he just had to go get the wheels. And when asked how long now. On NOVEMBER 16th. He said that he has to settle an invoice with his supplier before they release them.
That was my last contact. Now the phone is completely shut off. Before it said "Due to the subscribers request" I finally realized I had enough of this and 3 months of saying.."The wheels are done" is just absurd.
I want my wheels back!
I believe we have enough people to consider this a class-action lawsuit. I'll be in touch.
