I moved from CA to CO in July and got my vehicle registered on July 31st. My existing GEICO auto policy would expire on Aug. 11, so I called GEICO on August 5th for a quote for Colorado. The same day I got the quote I bought insurance from another company (and saved $400). The following week GEICO sent me a bill for insurance I never ordered. I threw it out. They kept this up every month until November, and I kept throwing it out. Then they turned me into a collection agency. The address I have is Texas, but this all happened in Colorado. I should have taken their bills more seriously, but why should I when I never agreed to buy what they say they sold me?
