Rip-Off Artists - Liars, Con-Artists

I purchased a motorcycle from Metropower sports in May. I live in Ohio and purchased the bike on-line, because they were the only dealership who had what I was looking for. My salesperson assured me that I was receiving the lowest price and that there would be no shipping costs to have the bike delivered to Ohio. This was part of the deal. I spoke to him at least threee times over the course of the week and we set up the financing, which I was led to believe was through a BANK. The bike was delivered at 9:30 in the evening and the driver produced a stack of paperwork for me to sign by the light of his truck headlights, telling me he didn't have time to enter the house to allow me to sign the papers. My mistake! They had told me that my payments would be 169.00 per month. Affordable. Approximately two weeks after delivery of the bike I received the first bill, they had placed the bike on a credit card, with 17.99 interest! My 7500.00 bike had maxed out the card at 15000.00!!! The 169.00 payment was the interest alone! They had charged me shipping and handling, which they were not supposed to do along with other misc. Charges. I immediately called to complain and they told me that they could not reverse anything after I had signed for delivery. I then received a duplicate title in the mail, which was marked that it was not allowable for plates because the sales tax had not been paid to Michigan. It took me THREE months to get a reply from Metro PowerSports and this was only because I hired an attorney!!! The company owner finally called me and asked me to cease and desist, that he would immediately take care of the "oversight" and pay the taxes.in addition to this the bike arrived with a slit tire and a cracked accessories compartment, which I was never able to get replaced. So I had amotorcylce that I could not get plated until August, when it had been delivered the first of May! Then I called Household Finace to complain, because the first bill that I received was due 2 days after I received it! I was going to be late on my first payment. I asked if they had a website so that I could be on time with my payment and the woman refused to give me the address (I had searched the internet on my own for an hour and could not find them). I asked her the reasoning behind that and she said that they preferred that you mail the payment. Of course! They make millions on late payments that way. I reported them to the Federal Banking Commission, who, of course, sent them a letter which they had all the appropriate replies to. I call the attorney generals office in Michigan and they told me that they could not help me unless I DROVE UP THERE!!! What kind of craziness is that? I still have the bike, paid on it for 18 months and have only brought the balance down on the card by 104.00!!! I can't even trade it in because the finance company holds the title and you have to pay off the entire balance to get the title released. What a rip-off. Someone please help us!
