Doxon Toyota is the worst Toyota dealership in the world to buy a car. Please, do not purchase a vehicle there. They advertise about their "full disclosure dealership", they show you the invoice. What they do is make it up!
I was in there to purchase a car not too long ago, and when we were writing up an offer, I heard the sales manager.."Gary Jacobson"... Call my husband and I an ethnic slur..."ni*ers" don't have good credit. Little did he know, I probally had better credit than him.
So, the sales man comes over and shows me the invoice on the vehicle, after he went from the sales office, to some back room, and back to the sales office, and then to us. It had been wihited out and photocopied with a new number over it!!! So, my husband went out side and called our son, gave him the vin number, who was able to get the invoice off line. Sure enough, the sales man altered it! The sales man was "ken" and ken had told us that the owner, Mark Doxon, told Gary the manager to do that because the economy was so bad, they weren't making money on the cars, they were having to sell them for invoice. So they altered the invoice to get more money!
When we asked for our keys for our trade in, we obviously lost our trust at this point... The prejudice manager, gary, would not give them to us! He was holding our keys hostige. When I told him I was going to call the owner Mark Doxon. He said that its ok. Mark knows spade's don't really buy cars anyway, and he was "old school" and been in the car business for ever... And "so what if we did a little white out and copy on the invoice... You weren't going to pay that anyway, because YOUR PEOPLE can't afford anything. Thats why 50% of africian american's are on welfare!" and he threw our keys about 15 feet into the show room.
I was so insulted, offended, disrespected and angry. My husband, funnily, is a retired NFL player, we have pleanty of money, and this predjuice man... Just lost a cash sale because of this. We went to the other local toyota dealership and purchased our suv with cash.
Do not purchase a car at this dealership. Doxon Toyota alters the invoice, and tricks you into believing that they are being so honest by showing it to you.
