Obviously from reading through these other reports on CapitalOne, I am not alone in this issue. They constantly call me and it is getting ridiculous. I am getting about 1 call per hour - every single day. It's insane! I have tried writing to them and have told them to stop calling me and it doesn't end. My next move is to file a complaint with the FCC. I have been paying them on time, every month. Not one missed payment, but every month, they call and call and call. I have to keep my phone on silent mode because of this, which causes me to miss calls I might actually need to want. I am going to look into a class action lawsuit. If no one has started one, I think someone should. At this point, I have given up that they will ever stop calling. I want to pay off the loan to get rid of them but we have been told that making regular payments to something will improve our credit rating, and if we pay it off, we don't have anything else to help our credit. So, we keep the loan and suffer the consequences. Maybe it's time for a re-fi? Although in this market and economy, I am guessing that won't come so easy either.
