My 06 dodge stratus flooded out during hurricane ike. So i needed a new car. My family delt with texas direct auto and got very good deals on corvettes so they recommended me to them.
I found a 05 saturn ion redline for sale by them on ebay. It was $3,000 below bluebook. I called about it. They said it was at the body shop getting touch up paint on the ground effects. They said it would be ready monday morning.
I made a 2:00 appointment to see it. We got there at 1:30 and it was still "not back from the body shop". Jeff kept telling us a 30 more mins. Finally at 4:00 he said ok well ill take you over to it but its missing the knob on the gear shifter. (standard) so you cant see what gear you are in or where reverse is.
Anyways we test drove the car. Absolutely no gas in the car to even test drive it. We filled it up $30. Oh by the way when it was in the "body shop" those scratches weren't even fixed.
Excuses excuses something is fishy with them.
Jeff said they would order the knob. So we went in to do the paperwork. While they were going to detail it and do the inspection. After the paperwork was done jeff came back and said "bad news" it wont pass inspection.
He said bring it back when i could to get the o2 sensor and the knob and get it inspacted.
Well i took it home because the deal was already done.
I took it back the next week. Showed up at 12:30. Waited waited waited. Jeff said, "30 more minitues, just a little bit longer..."
Well at 6:30,6 hours later, not fixed, actually worse, and still no inspection sticker.
I dont like the way there workers drive the car. They used 1/2 a tank of gas that day and put 80 miles on the car taking it to "get inspected".
I don't know what to do...???
