My wife and I went in to get her oil changed one day and we left the keys in the car, which is the normal procedure. When we came back after they were finished they stated they had broken her door handle in half because the door was locked when they went to open it. Her car has a safety feature where the door won't lock if the keys are in the ignition so we knew they were lying. We live about 20 miles from that Wal-Mart and another 20 or so from the dealer to get a new handle.
Instead of sending someone to the dealer to get us a new handle and replacing it they sent us on our own gas and time to them to have it fixed, which they did actually pay for after the Manager hemming and hawing around a bit before agreeing even to that. So we spent about 45 minutes travel time each way and probably a couple of gallons of our gas to fix something they broke in the first place.
