My daughter is having problems with Drive Financial. We are not co-signers on her loan. Yet we her parents along with her Grandparents have been called numerous times. Unfortunately her Grandmother has been called at work. I thought that was against the law to call a person's place of employment. I called this am to request our number be taken off and no more calls. As we were reference only. I had to call three times.
The first two times the operator (received the same operator each time - Tiffany) put me through to the proper people. I waited online and listened to their messages especially about the time. Opened at 7:00 am. I called at 8:40. No one would answer and I was cut off. Now please remember I already gave my information of what I needed to the operator. I called again and received the same. So being the determined person I am I called a third time and again spoke with the operator. She had remembered me.
Now mysteriously the operator was supposely able to take our number off our daughter's account, but when I asked to have her Grandmother's number off she said she wasn't on the reference list and that number wasn't on the account... Hmmmmmmmm. I told her this place of business has been calling her at both work and home. I thought it was against the law to be calling someone at their place of employment, am I correct? A hesitation came from the operator and then replied. "ah, I don't know". Then I asked how they even got that number... Another hesitation "Mam, I don't know".
I then told the operator I would be continuning to call till I reached someone who could help me with that.
Someone is being dishonest here...
And concerning my daughter she had a written agreement on payments with this company and they changed things without any notice. She faxed them the contract four times yesterday and was told that she was behind in interest... Can you believe that? She has the proof in her hands but they won't acknowledge it. They treatened her as they do to have a repo man pick up her vehical... They said it was already in the process but not yet approved... Talk about a line.
This company needs to be stopped. I have reviewed these comments and sent to my daughter. She already has a lawyer looking things over... Wow!!!
