I received an email from Barry saying that he had a truck passing by my city and that he would be able to give me an extra discount. So I contacted the number to find out how much it would be. Barry picked up and quoted me $775 with no hidden charges, including the full coverage insurance.
After taking my credit card information for a $200 as a deposit, he told me I would receive an email and that I needed to sign and send back.
Indeed, I received the email but I was not able to open the attachment, as it was a HTML format that would open on an error page. I emailed them back telling them to re-send it under a pdf or word format. I finally receive an email showing that the charges were $837!!!
I immediately called the 800 number and told them that it was not what I have been quoted, but they assured me that it is the amount I agreed with including tax and insurance coverage. I told them that it was not true and that I did not agree on that amount, so I need to cancel. The guy said that it was fine but they would need to charge me for a $100 cancelation fee since it was over 24 hours that I had placed the order. I told them I was not even able to open their attachment. He rudely said that "it was not their problem." AVOID!!! That's the easiest rip-off ever!!! I was in a rush of making a decision so I did not check their ratings, but they actually have bad ratings on the internet as well.
