Rip-off faulty product store credit only no returns purchased item doesn't fit exchanged twice, Moreno Valley

I purchased after market lights/lenses for my '91 pickup truck at the retailers local mall outlet. They had posted signs saying no returns only exchanges or store credit. I fully intended to install the products on my vehicle and was not concerned about the policy, basically I purchased in good faith that what I was buying would fit on my vehicle, why then would I return it.

After waiting two weeks for the front projection beems to come in, I attemeted to install all the lenses and lights. The side lenses were the wrong ones, the rear lenses wouldn't fit (to small), the projection lights stick out of the front grill about 1/2 inch (not flush like original equipment). I attempted and exchange of the merchandise and the same condition occured.

Finally I just wanted to get my money back and was informed that store policy is only exchange or credit. I explained that I understood but the merchandise I purchased was defective and therefore their policy shouldn't matter. I informed them I would contact my credit card company for help. The salesman "Eddie", became rude and said I could do whatever I wanted but he wasn't giving me "a damn thing."

My credit card company "Providian", has failed to protect me, "the consumer", by stating that since the company was willing to provide store credit they considered the matter closed. What am I supposed to do get credit for $451.00 worth of pine tree fragrance.

I attemted finally to stand out in front of the store, just before Christmas and inform other customers that they should beware and was removed from the location by mall security.in the interim I learned that the mall has problems with the outlet as well, as they are not paying the space rent and they have filed for bankruptcy protection.

The district rep, Jeff, said this is the first time he's had this problem and wants me to drive into Anaheim so he can check my truck himself. SOooo, now I'm a liar and have to drive out of my way to prove otherwise. I would love to have a news crew there to document/film these idiots and get me my money back.
