I went to visit Chad Franklin after seeing there ad on television. When I got to the dealership I explained to the salesman what I was looking for and what I can afford. The salesman reviewed my credit history and told me I qualified for a $89.00 a month car. He showed me what they had avaiable. He told me he would take my 92 toyota for trade in and that they would come and pick up the car from my house. Chad Franklin would pay the first 6 months and I would only be paying $89.00 then I would bring the car back in 6 1/2 months and athey would either allow my to trade it in for another car or refinance the current car I had.
They never came and got the car. So I went back to the dealership on Saturday 8/17/08 I had an appointment with a gentleman by the name of Ricco. Well he was with a customer, so another gentleman helped me. First he took me back to the financing room and stated I wanted to bring you here so our conservation could be recorded. So I began to explain to him what I was doing there and what was told to me when I got the car. He then wen to on to tell me that the bank has the finance on the car and it was out of there hands. So my daughter asked about the deal and he then told me that deal was no longer avaiable and that I was responsible for the whole car payment. My daughter went on to ask when this deal was taken off the table and why was the consumer were not informed. He explained again that the deal was off the table and there was nothing they could do, if the car payment was not made then the bank would pick up the car. I am on a very tight income and explained that I could not afford a car payment that high and he would not even think about refinancing the car. We left very upset with nothing resolved.
