I recetly brought my parents to 1400 motors in Nashua NH to look at a brand new 300c. The first thing we noticed when entering the dealership was how filthy the place was. Sales people were eating at there desk, reading the paper, or staring at a computer. My impression was nobody was excited about selling us a car.
The salesman that finally decided to say hi was very unprofessional. My father tends to ask alot of questions and unfortunatly the salesperson did not have many answers. I was shocked. The vehilce we were looking at was over $40,000 and when we asked about the MY Gig system with navigation the saleperson was clueless. He kept walking over to the window sticker hopeing the answer was there. When I asked if we could go for a ride he started asking us about credit. What a turn off.
My father is retire from the airforce and has just about the best credit a person could have. I then told the salesperson that credit was not an issue and that at this point we just wanted to drive the vehicle. He pretty much threw a plate on it and said I'll see you in a while. Wow I thought what a trusting guy. Not only that this car had alot of features and it would have been nice if he at least showed us how to adjust the seat and mirrors.
Long story short we did drive the car and when we got back we quickly thanked the sales person and left. We went to the new Chrysler store in lowell and bought almost the exact same car under much better circumstances. I laughed at delivery thinking about that salesman from Nashua, sitting at his desk, waiting for us to come back. NEWS FLASH!!! Were not coming, enjoy the sub!!!
