My 17 Year old Daughter bought her first car cash at Subaru Of Nashua in NH $4700.00 we told them we would buy it if they fixed the brakes and the oil leak.
We got the car and that same day there was OIL all over my driveway. I called them up and they said sorry, have it towed somewhere. So I went down to Subaru of nashua and took a fit outside with all the customers watching. We had the car 1 day at this point. They had sent the car to 1400 Motors to have the oil leak fixed so they had no idea what was going on DUH!
Subaru gladly sent it back to 1400 motors after I was stopping customers and telling them my problem. It turned out to be the Head gasket. They said it was fixed. After 7 months the brakes stopped working correctly and we had another oil leak. We were told nothing was ever fixed on the car it was just mickey moused to hold it over.
I went back to Subaru and the General Sales Manager Dawn Lamothe told me brakes don't last that long and they were fixed. So now I am being told brakes only last 7 months YEAH OK The service dept says it is the head gasket and it is under warranty so they send it back to 1400 motors who now say no its the cam shaft.
At this point I tell them I just want my car back, they say it is $90 because 1400 motors had to look at it. I told them I would call the police and go get my car. Guy calls me back and says he went and got the car 0 charge!!! I ask the service dept to print me out the service that was done to my car, I was told " we cannot do that our cumputers can't do it" This is a brand new place with top of the line computers.
I took it to my mechanic $600 to put in new brakes bearings and a broken tie bar. They cleaned all the oil from the car and said someone had replaced the head gasket and ficked the cam shaft.
If you're thinking of buying a car there think twice!
They gave me $100 for my 96 dodge intrepid that was at deaths door and sold it on ebay for $600 ssaying all it needed was tender loving care. The car had been hit and lost all electrical. Plus had several major issues that came to 1300.00 to have fixed. Once again they lied.
