Worst exerience I have had in attempting to purchase a used vehicle

I was visiting my daughter in Houston in October to help her get her life settled after surgery. She was in need of a car, and early one morning I saw a infomercial on TV Channel 13 on this dealership.
It stated they were a Second Chance dealership and had several people with testimonies on how they had bad credit, had been through a divorce or had filed bankruptcy, has reprosessions etc and how this dealership provided them with a new or used vehicle with little or no money down.
I wrote down the 1-800.. Number and called later that day. I received a call back from a lady by the name of Casey, she told me I had been approved, but I needed to make an appointment within 72 hours. I advised Casey I only had $1000 to put down and she advised that she was thinking about $500. I made the appointment for the next day, Tuesday.
I went to the dealership, asked for Casey, was told to sign in and have a seat. About 10 minutes later a lady came out (don't remember her name, but not Casey) and gave me two forms to fill out. She came back and told me someone would be with me shortly.
A young man came out, took me to his office, then left, as I sat there I saw a sign that said, not to use your cell phone in the office, there was a breakroom where the cell could be used.
The young salesman came back and ask me what I was looking for. I told him I wanted a pre-owned SUV. I told him I had $1000 to put down. He said ok let me see what we have available. He came back and told me to come with him, he had a SUV that looked, nice enough, however it was not a nissan, so we took it for a test drive. We got back to the dealership and he had me sit down in the reception area and told me he would be right back.
Well, approximately 45 minutes later, another salesman comes over and takes me to his cubicle, and tells me that with my credit, I would need about $4000 on the the SUV I wanted. I told him I did not have that much. He said I would need to look at something else.
I ask him about the $500 I was quoted when I made the appointment, and he told me those cars sold for about $6000, had been sold the day before and that A.M. He then told me he needed to take care of something, and if I could sat in the reception area, I did for another hour, with salespeople going and coming, no one offered to assist.
I saw people come in test drive a vehicle and leave. I stopped a lady and ask her how she was doing and she told me she had seen the dealership on TV but that the story was altogether different now that she was there. She was going straight to consumer protection division, at the job where she worked and stormed out.
I told the lady at the desk I needed to get something to eat and she told me to go ahead that the salesperson must have gotten held up. I left and returned an hour later. The salesperson told me that I could not get anything without $2500. I ask him, about the TV ad and he told me, he had no idea what I was talking about. He then told me he would review my paperwork later and give me a call the next day.
I ask him if there was anything I could buy with $1000 and he told me no, not here.
The salesman did not call by mid-morning the next day so I called him 3x's before he finally called me back to tell me I would need at least $2000 in order to get a small car like a versa or sentra.
Now, the salesperson I took the SUV for the test drive was nice, but as soon as we returned to the dealership, I saw him talking with three other men and one was all in his face. Then I never saw him again.
The salesman I ended up with was rude, and would not let me ask any questions! I ask him about two other vehicles I saw on the lot (I had lots of time to walk around) and he had a story on everyone of them.
I had even prinited out a copy of the cars that were on the internet (the price would not print out) with the prices and he told me that thoses vehicles were for people that dealt with the internet salespersons.
I have purchased four cars but I have never been left to feel the way this dealership left me feeling. I would have paid the $2500 for the SUV had told me why I needed that much money and why the story was so different from the TV infomercial and what the lady told me on the phone when I made the appoint. I was very disappointed and will never every go to that dealership, and my advise to anyone else is to steer clear of David McDavid Nissan on the Gulf Freeway in Houston, Texas.
