I made a payment to American Family Insurance in June. They never posted the payment to my account, yet took the money from my checking account. I have spent endless hours on the phone and EVERYONE I have spoken to has told me they would call me back with answers. This issue has not been resolved and I have been asked several times to send them a copy of the check, but THEY submitted the transaction as a debit; therefore, I do not have a copy of the check.
I filed a dispute with my bank today and am hoping this will expedite the process of getting credit for my payment. I am also writing a letter to the regional managers of this company and am filing a complaint with the BBB.
