I am an African American and I phoned into this shop to ask about a symptom that was going on with my BMW. The mechanic who answered the phone told me to bring it up and he would check it out for no charge since it would take only a few moments to diagnose and I wouldn't be leaving it. While he was checking out the car the owner came back from somewhere and after about 10 mins of checking me car the mechanic pulled it out and told me he didn't find anything wrong.
The owner has my keys and demands $75.00 service charge. I told him when I talked to the mechanic on the phone he said there was no charge. "Key the mechanic walking out the door now". Then the owner says there's nothing for free buddy. First off, I'm not your buddy and if your mechanic said there is no charge there shouldn't be a charge. So he states that if I don't pay I can't get my car. So I'm stranded.
As I'm paying the bogus charge I tell him I'm going to report him to the cops. He throws my keys and me and starts threating me and comes around to start shoving me out the door and says thats why I don't deal with YOU PEOPLE!
This guy is a shady dealer. If you call and ask to speak with the manager and here how he talks you will know what I'm talking about. I've had several people tell me when they call there he fast talks them on the phone and then blows them off if they seem to ask more questions than he is willing to answer. Stay away from this business if you value the quality of your car.
