Letter stated that the factory warranty on my 2007 Ford had expired or would soon. I know this not to be true because I purchased the full warranty/extended warranty and the maintenance package. I know for a fact without calling anyone that my Ford is fully covered and that the warranty has not expired nor will expire any time soon.
A quick search provided results that show other auto owners of different makes are receiving these letters. I also receive phone calls, I just hang up. Keep informed, don't respond to unsolicited email, mailings or phone calls for personal information or money.
