I have to agree with Barbara from Hanford, CA. The same exact situation with me. They repossed my vehicle without notification.

When i called to inquire I was told the same thing: that I was 63 days late, and they mailed me a "registerd" letter (which I never received nor could they produce) and told me the payment received after the letter was sent would be returned to me. I was told then that I had to payoff the entire loan in order to get my vehicle back because the state I was indid not have any "reinstatement laws".

After a about 3 weeks i finally was able to send them the payoff amount ($20K) but was given the wrong address to fedex it to by someone in the Chandler AZ location. Now I have to wait another week if im lucky and hope they are able to post it to the account or sent it to the correct center.

Every person I spoke to in that company: 1) had an attitude 2) gave me a different answer 3) Was extremlly unprofessional 4) Not knowledgeable at all of the procedures-on rep was even eating in my ear!
I have to admit through it all Arvinna was the only somebody who didnt "leave a bad taste in my mouth", her and Sharon at ext 44544.

I feel the need to mention no call came with a less than a 15 minute hold.

Heres the kicker: my vehicle has a personalized plate on the front (my NAME) and was seen on more than one occasion driven by someone throughout the surrounding towns and communities.

Toyota's response was " the vechile was sold".
Not true, i am schdeuled to hopefully pick up the vehicle next week if im lucky.

By the way i want to contact the AZ location to verify the funds were posted to the account since i have proof of delivery. I was told because it is a call center to hang up and call back over and over until i reach someone in that center because they could not transfer me or give me a direct number.

I need help pursuing this matter because i refuse to let them get away with continuing to rip people off!
These people are sickening and should not be legally able to conduct business any where in the continental USA.

There has to be something we can and should do.
There has to be some type of recourse that we can take. Just imagine all the VICTIMs who have not spoke out.
