I would not recommend these people for business.
I traded in my old car witch I told them had problems, and they where fully aware of the situations and took my car in for a trade. The car fax I had, showed the car has an accident from the previous owner, witch showed fender bender, but the title was claimed as clear. I was looking into a 05 Subaru STI that I wanted to buy and the sales person let me drive it around the block. Soon as I was done, I was ready to buy it. They took me into their office and tried negotiating prices with me and told me $32,999 for it. The sales representative tried telling me this is what these cars go for.
Im sorry but a 2005 Subaru STI with 45,500 miles on it does not go for that price. Thats the retail price bran new back in 2005. We ended up coming to terms only because of the finance manager who was some what of help. I bought the car for $26,300 including warranty. The sales manager who was on site at the time told me they would give me $800 back because I was unable to pay the insurance on the spot.
So I believed him, witch I should have got in writing. Now that Im calling them for that check and its been 3 weeks, theyre trying to tell me my car I traded in has a frame bent 2 inches. How are they going to tell me that when the car fax and DMV reports it as a clear title? I know the frame is not bent. The sales manager tries telling me I can have the $800 but they will end up slapping me with a $4,000 bill for trading in a salvaged car. (Witch is not salvaged at all) or I could just drop the $800 and they would forget it even happened.
I told him I want paper work showing this issue and he told me he would call me back within an hour. Well six hours later I get no call and now I cant get a hold of him. On top of it all theyre the ones who tried selling me a car for way over the price and now realize they lost more money then what they intended. I had to fill the empty tank on the car, wash the clumps of mud I found underneath it, and clean the interior. Im now asking for their full inspection list that they said was done, but still no word.
Who knows if there is something else wrong. Im now having trouble trying to pump gas into the car. Maybe thats why they left it on empty? Thank god I bought the extended warranty.
