My daughter purchased a 2010 Saab coupe with 3000 miles on it from Holgren Subaru of Franklin, CT for about $21000. The sales manager and salesman told our family that the warranty on the car would be 3000 miles or 3 years whichever comes first. When the car had problems Subaru said SAAB would be responsible for the warranty. SAAB says the and 2012 cars are not covered by the warranty. We feel that we were lied to by the dealership and we thought the warranty is covered by law. We feel either Subaru or Saab is responsible for fixing my daughter's car. Subaru made a verbal contract with us and we told them if the Saab was not warranted my daughter would buy a 2012 subaru legacy. Subaru would not let us trade the Saab for a legacy and everyone tells us we are stuck. If major repairs are needed for the Saab then my daughter is out the expense of the repairs and nobody can afford major car repairs. Please help us get a warranty for my daughter's car.
