Chrysler Financial, Fred Frederick Dealership
Illegal repossession of my car, ruined my credit, company refused repeated requests for payment statements, missed work and caused stress

My nightmare began on January 24 at 4:00 A.M. When my PT cruiser was removed illegally from my driveway. I was standing there in my nightgown and bare feet asking a total stranger why he was towing my car away. He told me Chrysler Finance was repossessing the car for non-payment. I was in shock... I told him I had all my receipts! He ignored me. He hooked up the car and took off with all my stuff in it. I was in utter and total shock!

I waited until Chrysler Finance opened that same morning and called them to find out what in the world is going on. They said their records showed nothing was wrong.

I then called Fred Frederick Chrysler Dealership... I was horrified at the way Craig Frederick was talking to me. I could not believe this was the same person that leased me the car. When I tried to talk he kept saying he was going to hang up on me if I said another word and he kept yelling, "YOUR NOT LISTENING" He yelled "I am going to DESTROY you"!"You will be worth nothing!" AND "I will make sure you NEVER get another car". I was trying to tell him I had all the receipts and I would be willing to send him a copy of all of them. I asked him to send me a copy of my account activity and he refused. He hung up on me.

I then called Chrysler Finance again in the afternoon... WOW what a change... They said their records showed I had only made one payment in 8 months. I asked for a copy of that record and they told me they would not give it to me. They said they didn't know we moved? I told them I had contacted them to give them my new address so they could send me my license plates which were on the car they towed. I told them I had all my receipts. I told them I had made payments with U.S. Postal money orders, which Chrysler Financial said are fraudulent.

I contacted the post office to have them to send me a copy of the front and back of the money orders. They sent me photocopies of all the money orders and they are clearly marked with my account number on the front. On the back of each money orders it states Chrysler Finance cashed them 5 days after I bought them.

There is so much more that has happened and continues to happen to this day. Due to this nightmare and horrible accounting error, I have missed work because of having no car. I have had to cancel doctor appointments. I had to buy a used car for far more than it is worth, because I now have the WORST credit. Every day the stress continues to worsen.

The question I would like to ask is how can a corporation take a car worth thousands of dollars out of a person's driveway without providing any proof of non-payment? Isn't that considered auto theft? Perhaps... Chrysler Financial is beyond the law.

I will NOT give up on this...
