I've read all of the other reports on this site and I just thought I'd add my piece. I'm not perfect and I fell a few weeks behind on my truck payment. I wasn't expecting WDS to be happy about this, I also was not expecting the "customer service" I received when I called to make the payment.

It started with a voicemail on my phone from a gentleman named Tom requesting that I return their call and make a payment. The message wasn't polite, but it wasn't exceedingly rude either. After hanging up with my voicemail I called the customer service number that I had stored in my phone. The rep that answered transfered my call to Tom who promtly scolded me for calling the wrong number.

After some more of Tom's angry lecture to me, he said that he had to physically get up out of his desk and walk down the hall to get my file off of the desk of the reposessor, who was supposedly gone for the day. (I'm not sure if I believe this story. I think it was just meant to be a scare tactic.) We got my payments straightened out.

After the call I was astonished that a person acting on behalf of a business would talk to a customer the way I was talked to. I am only eight months in on a five year loan and I hope that this wasn't a preview of things to come. You could say I'm looking forward to posting many more reports on this site.

Had I read this site before I bought my truck, I would have walked the twenty miles home from the dealership that day.
