We moved from Oregon to Colorado in June and used a 6X12 trailer, this had to be picked up 70 miles from our moving destination (Lincoln City) picked up in Salem, then had to drive back and load and moved to Denver Colorado. Cost $168.00. Now we are going to return to Oregon from Denver, Cost $321.00. How can this be? We went out of our way to do business with Uhaul and now that we would expect them to be honest with pricing they can't and I'm told that the customer Rep. Hasn't had a complaint in 9 years.
To begin with I'am a disabled Veteran and would expect a discount for that, not to be gouged with a ridiculous price of $321.00 dollars for a trailer. A truck only cost $710.00 to do the same move how can a trailer be that high. This company is a monoply on the moving business when it comes to trailers and that alone makes this price skeptical.
Is there anyone that has control of these deceitful dishonest and non-integrity enterprice, to be told that uhaul has not been complained about in 9 years takes the cake. Something must be done to control this disgrace to U.S. Vets.
