Upon visiting the VIP Auto store on 51 Bath Road Brunswick, Maine; I found myself extremely uncomfortable and was put on the spot by one of the employees in front of the entire store! Now, the customer service representative that was helping me out, was doing his best to answer all of my questions, with a little help from another employee. I had a few different questions and am not familiar with autos like most would be, but with my husband being FT military I had no other choice but to go in with what I knew and hope someone could help me figure things out. It was all going well until JJ LEE came back to the register by the one I was being waited on at and interrupted a question I was asking, by answering it very rudely..."your husband should just come in because he would know more than you do." I was pretty embarrassed, seeing as there were three other employees there, along with 4 or 5 other customers that had since walked up into his line. And the fact that he wasn't even the one helping me was pretty sad too. So I just said okay and continued talking to the gentleman who was trying to help me out, setting up arrangements to have our jeep towed in to be worked on. I wanted to make sure I had all the details to what I was expected to do, right, when JJ LEE interrupted from his register again, "Ma'm we have a line of other people here waiting and you're just going to have to wrap it up."
Now I understand that other people needed services too and I'm not trying to make mine more important than anyone else's but I was in the middle of a very important business transaction that I have had no other luck in finding the services that I needed; and this man put me on the spot in front of the entire store. I was completely embarrassed and at that moment grabbed my toddler's hand and walked out the door with everyone watching me leave. While buckling my son in his car seat, JJ LEE came around the corner and I turned to him and told him to go ahead and cancel the appointments I had set, only to have him roll his eyes at me and walk away.
I do not appreciate being treated this way and hope that anyone with any sense of customer service would see that this was very uncalled for, and this situation will be addressed. I was in the process of doing a couple hundred-dollar transactions with them and I am told to "wrap it up?!" Very unprofessional. Never again.
