After getting new struts installed on 02-11-08, went to pep boys for alignment. Strut shop damaged axle, grease everywhere. Pep boys aligned my wheels despite obvious damage, then informed me of damage. This alignment should never been attempted, as per a second pep boys location (ocean, nj - who quickly honoered alignment warranty).
After strut shop respectfully fixed damage 02-14-08. I Called pep boys (Howell) to kindly address alignment situation. Manager John Kane told me to " get f'd ", refused to address situation, told me to pay for another alignment. When I requested a contact for his business superior, he told me that he was the boss, makes the decisions and hung up on me. All this with the most nasty of demeanors. This guy has no business in the people business. Not only did they give me an alignment prematurely, they refused to honor the pep boys warranty 3 days later, and this jerk curses paying customers with a big pep boys repair/business history.
I want him disciplined, possibly fired and am agressively pursuing this based on principle. I am going to call, write, visit, and contact everyone possible regarding this. I am not a complaining customer, but his behavior, reaction, and treatment is not acceptable. I am a home contractor, and I deal with some serious characters or personalities. I am appaled, and cant imagine speaking to one of my clients in this manner. I need some info/leads/assistance.
