Well I'm very dissatisfied with Carmax. The automobile itself is okay, I've had if for some decades and working great. Our criticism is by using their bad guarantee they prefer to reword.in order I stated, have experienced the vehicle for some decades and not had any guarantee work completed. I purchased the vehicle with 6k miles and bought the prolonged 100k guarantee only for reassurance and protection when the automobile were to actually dysfunction. The crack door lock on my ford explorer sport vehicle smashed. The lock system failed and that I could not obtain the back-door open and my part power mirrors went. Well I got it to some Honda dealer to obtain issues set since I have have transferred a great deal and never fairly near to a carmax. Plus I needed a trustworthy repair center therefore the work could be done right. Well this all must have obtained no further than the usual day-but Carmax would not approve the fix without delivering and inspector to check on the automobile. After all seriously, this can be a Ford seller, exactly why is it essential to send an inpector? Well that intended the vehicle would need to remain instantly and Honda explained that carmax stated they'd not approve a rental without first permitting the fix however the inspector had a 24-hour screen and wouldn't be there until someday 24 hours later. And so I needed to individually contact Carmax guarantee and have exactly what the issue was and could obtain a rental however the man claimed he might just provide me oneday of rental. Well I thought oneday could be good but which wasnot the situation. The inspector did not arrived at 3pm about the second-day and function couldn't be achieved about the automobile until there is agreement therefore a later date within the store. Honda named carmax to obtain another day of rental with much opposition they offered a later date. Effectively the job was ultimately completed about the next evening and Honda named to express that carmax wasn't attempting to spend the statement and that I could be accountable for the remaining. I'm so pissed since I purchased a sizable warranty and am just designed to spend a $75 deductible from community. Well I'd to pay for $100 more since Carmax was rewording they approach the guarantee read plus one about their work pay rules. Anyhow, to sum it all-up DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CARMAX since if you want guarantee function it is likely to be considered a trouble and Carmax may mess you one of the ways or another.
