Test drove a used car about 1 month ago. While driving the car I noticed a strange smell (kinda like oil). The salesman riding with me said it was engine degreaser I was smelling. After we came back to the dealership, the mechanic looked under the hood and said it's engine degreaser too. BUT he said and I quote "If you continue to smell it, bring it back and we will fix it at no cost to you"
I have taken the car back 3 times to fix this problem. The car smokes and SATURN comfirmed it to be a oil leak. Now coliseum auto says that they didnt notice the engine leaking before and it must have happened after I bought it.
Now they want me to pay $400.00 to replace an alleged bad crankshaft seal. I don't know what to do at this point. I have already invested $400 in repairs for this car out of my own pocket for other little things wrong with it.
To sum up the problem: They want me to pay for something they promised to fix and they won't even let me get my downpayment back and part ways.
