I called CarMax to ask about them buying my car. After several phone calls, I determined that they would pay between 5500 to 6500 for the vehicle and would be available all day Friday, Jan. 18. I drove the car, followed by my wife in her car the 3.5 hours to the dealership.
Once there, the shysters offered thousands less, saying they thought the car had steel rather than alloy wheels. Clearly they thought, they could just steal the car as I would not want to drive it the 3.5 hours back.
I did not sell the vehicle to them and would caution others not to trust this group. They lied to me, plain and simple.
