I have bought an extended warranty with Carmax of which is not yet needed and they want $97 dollars just to analyze problem.in the 1st place I should not have to pay for them to find something tat has been wrong with the truck since I bought it. Second I have taken a day off from work so can fix it and they said that I needed an appointment and that they want the truck for 2 days and will not supply a rental car when it is there problem to begin with.
They say that they do a 23 point inspection of every vehicle they sell yet the brakes are already worn out and they will not replace them even though I have less then 8000 miles on the truck. I have been in to the Burbank Carmax twice since I have owned the truck that I purchased from them and when I was there each time someone else said that the vehicle they had bought had so many problems that they just wanted to sell the car back.
That was the case this morning when a Iragi veteran wanted to sell the car back when they laughed and said they would not even give him half of what he paid for the car in return.
Please let the public beware of what a ripoff CARMAX is and do not believe their 23 point inspection. I am late for an appointment with my mechanic to have it looked at and I will report in later.
Oh yes and I did report this to their headquarters in Virginia with no results.
