My wife and I went to this dealer in response to an ad. When we arrived however we were told they did not have that vehicle, in stock but they could show us similar models (this is the typical bait and switch method). When we protested and started to leave they said they had the vehicle, however it was a hail damaged vehicle (Not mentioned in the ad). They then told us they could put us in a new vehicle for about $500 more. That seemed like an expectable answer, however when push came to shove the difference was about $6000 more. We finally agreed on another vehicle model and agreed to the terms (zero down and payments about $309 a month). When we went to sign the papers we were badgered about purchasing the optional warranty. When we refused suddenly we were told we needed to put down $2500 to purchase the vehicle.
This dealer ship uses tactics that are both immoral and illegal. Anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from them should look elsewhere. Also I encourage anyone having issues with Bait and switch dealers or harassing dealers to file a complaint with their state attorneys office. The only way these practices will stop is to impose stricter guidelines and penalties to car dealers, who now seem to operate with impunity.
