Two 6.5L diesel motor @ $4900.00 each had issues from day one after being installed. These are there complete drop in motors that have been test run on a dyno for 1 hour each.
There warranty, there word and there workmanship is absolutly worthless just like there motors. Read on for a great story.
1st week 4 out of 8 glow plugs where bad. (They use cheep China version)
$162.00 later
2 weeks later the injector pump starts leaking out of the front weep hole on bottom of pump. Told by company to have it taken out and send it back to them and they would replace it with another rebuilt pump.
(Labor and shipping would be my cost)
30 days later the PMD control module mounted on the side of the injector
pump goes bad. Towed again and repaired at my expense to the tune of $985.00.
First oil change at 1 thousand miles, rear main seal leaking oil bad.
3rd month at 3,128 miles head gasket blows, another tow job $235.00
Removed this motor and install another one of there fine rebuilts, 20 hrs labor at garage. ($1150.00 at my expense)
Second motor installed and run in shop for 5 minutes while it was still on the lift
Oil running right out of right valve cover and both head gaskets where leaking
anti freeze. Called them right up and talked to Eric and Eddie and they said that they where having problems with there head gaskets!
They where going to make it right with me and give me $500.00 to remove the second motor.
Sent back both junk motors and they came up with a story that the crank was busted in the first motor and where not going to refund my money on this one. The motor still ran when they brought it in to the shop except for the white smoke and anti freeze running out the exhaust.
To this day I haven't seen a penny from them, the vehicle has no motor still and the storage fees are $15.00 dollars a day. This has been going on since
May
I'm out $9800.00 for two junk motors and all the repair bills plus the storage fees to date... Thats the story with company.
"DO NOT"..."DO NOT"..."DO NOT" what so ever buy anything or
belive a thing they tell you or what you see on there web sites.
They talk a good story but thats about it. I have a great video of the
second motor running on the lift with oil and anti freeze running right out of
it. It should be on you tube soon!!
