Doug did the same to me almost exactly as he did Bobby from Virginia.

Sept. 2007: I ordered a crankshaft for a SBF with bigger than stock dia mains. Doug said he had three with that size mains in stock what stroke would I like. I told him the stroke and he then told me to send a check for $700 and another $50 for shipping. He said he could balance the crank for another $100 if I gave him the bob weights. He said he would charge me the balancing fee upon arrival of the crank.

Sept 28,2007: I gave Floyd the bob weights via email.

Sept. 31,2007: I called Floyd to make sure he got the bob weights, he said he did and again we went over the measurements of the crank and the shipping address. He said he would have it done and shipped out later that week.

Oct. 3,2007: I called to make sure Floyd was going to be able to send the crank out so that I could get the money order ready. He told me that there was a problem with the original crank and that he had another and would send it out later that week. {remember, he told me he had three with that size mains before I ordered}

Oct. 10,2007: I called again Floyd said he got held up and would send the crank Thursday 12,2007.

Oct. 16,2007: I again called Floyd and he asked had I received the crank as he shipped it Monday. He said if it didnt come in by Thursday 18 to let him know.

Oct. 22,2007: Still no crank. I called Floyd and he said the crank was sent back to him that it was sent to the wrong address {same as Bobby}. He would send it to me that day and phoned with with the phony tracking number {same as Bobby}. I checked the tracking number on the UPS website and it was listed as "Billing Information Received", but no other information.

Oct. 24,2007: I called UPS and they said they NEVER PICKED IT UP!

Oct. 25,2007: I called Floyd and asked where was the crank and got a song and dance about his problems using UPS and that I was very patient and he was sorry for the problem. I asked that if he was having a problem with UPS why not use a different carrier? He was confused by this and went right on with his rant about shipping. He said he would call me if the crank came back today and that he thought he had another crank and he would even refund my money if that's what I wanted. I told him that if the crank came back again that I live close enough that I would come to his shop in person for a refund.

I would also like to note that he hasn't called me back except for maybe twice and no emails replied to at all...
