I cam in and had them flush my transmission and replace the filter. About 2 days after I just happened to sever my tranny cooler lines about 2 blocks from their store. I was able to get there before I lost much fluid. First they tried to charge me $310 just for the lines, so i got them both from the dealer in anchorage for just over $100 and brought them in. They were not happy about it but they at least worked with me. After the work was finished the technician came out and told me that my Fluid was as old as the truck and i needed to have it flushed and the filter replaced. He showed me the filter, etc. So naturally I go back in and ask about this. I was told by the manager that "filter" on my receipt meant that they filter the fluid before they put it in the truck, not a "filter"... He could'nt explain the fluid, said I must have burnt it up when i severed the lines, which makes sence but the technician had assured me that was not the case. Needless to say, I will never go to midas in Wasilla ever again.
