Was told car needed fuel filter, a vaccum hose and plugs, quote $200.00. Got it back they said they changed the oil filter, added 5 qt's oil, manifold set, and carburetor gasket.
4 days later got it out of this shop, drove it less than 1 mile and it still kept dying like it was out of gas. Called him and he said bring it back in and we will do a tune up on it at an additional charge.
Found out later from other's the problem was the carb. It had a Ventura cab. On it from the factory. Had that changed and it ran like a new car UNTIL 3 or 4 weeks after Quality worked on it then engine started knocking and banging and clanging, checked oil and oil was thick like glue with like metal shavings in it. Car had been driven 534.2 miles from the time Quality Auto change the oil and the engine noise started.
Contacted him 3 times all he wants me to have the car towed 15 miles to his shop again so he can change the oil and oil filter again. Last time we talked he hung up on me.
