Went to the Firestone on 121 in the Colony. My check engine light was on and I was concerned because it was the weekend.
Check engine light on and was told they could run a diagnostic test. This would find out where the problem was. After waiting an hour was told my car need a major tune-up with new spark plugs and the fuel injection system need to be cleaned and also filter needed to be changed. I told the mechanic I just had the spark plugs replaced at the dealership 6,000 miles ago. He would not back down. Called to make sure the plugs were replaced and they were. The manager was sitting at the desk and heard my conversation.
Another mechanic starting taking a look at the hoses maybe there was a hold in one. At that point I decided to leave with my car and not go any further with Firestone. The repairs would of cost a lot of money. I continued hem I have my car serviced every 5,000 at the Honda dealership so the car could not need that many repairs. The manager decided I would not pay for the diagnostic test.
Guess what the light went out the next day and my car is running fine. Ladies be careful you could be told you need a lot of repairs when you don%u2019t.
