Audio Express EL Paso, TX Broke airbag sensor, and put the tweeters & antenna in wrong the locations

On 06/01/07 I went to Audio Express in EL Paso, TX Westside location.

I own a Chevy Silverado which I take very good care, garage kept wash & waxed once a week, my pride and joy. This truck has several thousand dollars of up-grades!

I went to Audio Express in EL Paso, TX to spend a little over a thousand dollars, for a Kenwood DVD Fip-out, I also bought a satellite receiver with the antenna and a pair of tweeters.

I had just put a 3000 watt amp, and two 10 inch subs with the wiring already to go thats to include the wiring harness to the radio that I had installed prior to going to Audio Express. This was suppose to be a quick hassle free install, little did I know the problems that I would go threw!

Altogether I spent a total of $1255.33 and this was a deal from what I was told?
One charge of $1167.11 and another charge of $88.22 for extra stuff they needed to charge me.

I spoke to RICK the store manager at the Audio Express Westside location, I asked very specific things. Like when will you be done and where I wanted the tweeters to go, also where I wanted the antenna to go.

I was told give us 1 hour and will be done, this will be an easy install. Well 3 hours later and they still were working on it. But thats ok I don't mind waiting even though they told something else.

What I do mind, after finally getting my truck back is that after driving done the road from Audio Express my Airbag sensor goes off.

So I call RICK the manager, and he gives me some story (sorry I forgot to to mention that your Airbag sensor is going off, just take it to the dealership and they will reset it real easy for you). So go to Rudolph Chevrolet and Miles tries to reset the Airbag which they normal don't do by the way. He comes back and says who ever installed your radio really screwed up your wiring and that major repair will be needed. There are about 8 fail safes to avoid faulty Airbag readings for good reason too!

The shocker is when I asked can it go off while I am driving, and he said it could go off.

I just spent an arm and leg so I told them I would come back, So I call RICK back and he gives me another story (Sir I am not sure if you did that or if we did that, Thats why I did not say anything). Number one there lying about that because why would you work on the vehicle if there was something wrong with it. I am just glad I did not kill myself or any body else for that matter!

As I drive home I notice they put the tweeters some where other than where I told them to put, and I notice again the antenna was put some where else than I told them to put. I plan on selling the truck so I did not want the antenna to be outside, the reason is they make a hole outside the windshield. And the tweeters they drilled holes in the doors, I told them to put the tweeters by the windsheild, the reason being is that the New GM vehicles put them in that same spot, it looks better there.

Also the speaker wiring was put backwards for the fade, so the fronts go to the back. And the backs go to the front. I can't believe these people. Don't they check the speakers out before they give the vehicle back to the customer?

So I speak to Mr. Valdez the District Manager at the Lee Trevino Location in EL Paso, TX and I tell him what happened and that I want my truck back to the way it was before they ruined my truck, he says no way, thanks. I called back and asked to speak to Mr. Valdez manager, and nothing! So I had to look it up on the internet under a different name Quality Auto Sound in Arizona? And speak to John LEE Vice President and he gives me a story (You signed a receipt and you have to do what we tell you to do) I guess this how he scams people into believing in this. I tell him look all I want is a refund and my truck the way it was before I went to that store. He says (no way, will patch it up thats it) like I trust them to do anything to my truck, no way!

So I get my truck fixed at RUDOPLH Chevrolet and just as they said, from the service report found wire had been pulled out of driver seat, repaired the wiring connector and no codes are being set.

Since I tired repeatedly to have them take care of me and nothing, I was told to dispute the charge from my credit union which is EL Paso Employees Federal Credit Union in EL Paso, TX it took two months for them to help me after speaking to a manager there, to reverse the charge. Originally they said just sue them famous last words. Remember if you do not receive the goods or service that you were promised you do not have to pay, I did make this up this is the Law in most states under Deceptive Trade Practice which is the Consumer Protection Act. And under reputable Credit card guidelines for VISA or Mastercard. I think I more than qualify for that.

So the credit union calls me to tell me that they got a letter from Audio Express saying that they took care of me and that I can call someone that I have already tried in good faith to resolve, which is a bunch of lies the one the thing they know how to do very well? And guess what happens my own credit union reverses the charge back onto my account are you kidding me! I't never seizes to amaze me, the things that I can't believe happens to people this is a crime!

And this is how companies Rip people Off everyday is just that easy, God Bless this site and may justice find it's way to all who seek it!
