I recently spent approx. $600 to have Audio Express install a stereo system in my vehicle. I have returned to Audio Express 7 different times between May to August because the equipment they installed in my vehicle is defective.
I have asked to speak to a manager, and continue to get the same run-around. They ask me to bring it in and they will take a look at it. Each time I bring it in, they continue to tell me that it was just a loose wire or something in that regards. There was a time when they told me that they actually replaced the radio, but after coming home and comparing the serial numbers, I found out that they had lied about replacing the stereo.
I recently requested to have the system pulled from my vehicle and return my money, but they refuse to do that. I have purchased there extended warranty, yet they refuse to fix the problem correctly and honor the warranty. I have also had several run-ins with rude employees that refuse to assist me.
After talking to several other people that have done business with Audio Express, it appears that I am not the only person that has been ripped off by this company. And to top it all off, this company marks the price of there equipment up approx.
50-75% higher that the average market price.
Avoid Audio Express at all cost, because in the end, you will get ripped off!
