Went to school for England and was disqualified - he drank to much (90 per month and always on his own time) and was sent home without paying for our way home and didnt refund our admin fee

My husband got a post card from CR England in the mail. I called and talked to a recruter and told her that I was also wanting to drive and that we wanted to team drive.

I had a interview over the phone with the recruter told her all our info and she said she would call back with the info for our bus tickets. She called and gave me the confermation# for our tickets and we got on the bus on saturday. We spent 16 hours on a bus and arrived at salt lake city on sunday morning. When we got there we got our room key and went up to get settled in. The next day (monday) we went to our first class.

A man came in and told us he would be doing the interviews, that he used to me a state patroll officer and not to bother liying in the interview couse they would find out and that would be worse. We went to go do the "interview" (it was more of a interagation) My husband went in first. The first question they asked was "how much beer do you drink a month" My husband answered 2 maybe 3 a night (he was very nervouse at this point and didnt tell the guy that it wasnt every night that we drank) So the guy asked him "how many is that a month" didnt even give my husband a chance to think and figure out hown many a month we drink and kept pushing the 90 a month. So my husband said "maybe i guess so" so the guy said ok your disqualified"

I was then taken into the same room and told that he had been disqualified and asked if I wanted to still do the interview I said yeah I guess. He then asked me the same question. I stayed calm and figured it out and it was 60 a month. He then told me I was accepted and that the reason my husband wasnt is couse he drank to much.

I tried to fight it but was told that it couldnt be fought at this point I wonddered what did it matter what we do on our own time as long as we dont drink while on the job or drive after drinking.

A armed security gaurd took me to my husband and said we had 1 hour and 15 min to decide what we wanted to do. We went to decide and came back 20 min later and told him we would leave. He then told us well I gave you 1 hour and 15 min to leave the building I will call a cab and we will pay for it but you have to find your own way home. I asked if we could get our administration fee back and they said it was non refundable.

So we had to sit and wait from 1:30pm till 11:45 pm that night to get on a bus. Had they asked BEFOR we got there how much we drank I NEVER would have even left. My husband befor we left turned down a raise from his employer to go do this.
