A closed credit card account of my husbands was handed over to NCO Financial. He had spoke the the original company several months before and they said the debt had been written off and that he didnt need to pay it. A few months later we get a phone call from NCO financial saying we owe them this money. My husband told this guy to send him a bill via mail and he would take care of it.
He NEVER received anything.instead this guy calls several times a week. A few weeks ago he called and I answered, it was 1pm and I told him my husband was at work, and that if he would wait to call back after the first of the month then we would be able to work something out. He called back that evening and asked to speak with my husband, I told him that he wasnt there and, again, asked if he would wait until the first to call back.
He proceeded to get very rude and asked if my husband was ever coming home. I told him that I had nothing to say to him and once again told him to call back on the first because we didnt have the money to send him at that point but we would have some on the first. He told me I was stupid and that he would call me whenever he wanted. So I hung up the phone. He called back immediately so I told him I wanted his name and his supervisors name and the told me that I was an idiot, that he wasn't going to give me anything. HE began to say some really rude and unporfessional things so I hung up again. He called me back 6 times that night and every time I hung up on him.
Since then he continues to call and we have left messeges with his suporvisor explaining the situation and that we will pay thie bill when he is taken off our case but she has yet to call us back. These are rude, unprofessional people.
